Accountant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team. You will work alongside experienced professionals, develop key financial skills, and grow within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
• Participate in month‑end closing, including journal entries, inventory variations and reconciliations.
• Perform inter‑company reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve differences.
• Review invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Handle petty cash and employee expense reports with proper documentation.
• Support VAT, NSSF and tax declarations ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and assist in preparing management reports.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with NSSF and tax declarations is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data handling).
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP.
