Technical Manager

About the role

The Technical Manager leads the entire Technical Department, ensuring that all units operate according to established standards and deliver optimal results. Reporting to the Head of Technical, the role coordinates in‑house teams, managed entities, and external contractors to maintain building systems and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and monitor all technical operations, including plant rooms, daily patrols, corrective and preventive maintenance, and energy‑saving initiatives.
• Revise and update Service Level Agreements annually to reflect system aging, occupancy changes, and tenant satisfaction.
• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly action plans and reports under the Head of Technical’s guidance.
• Oversee inspections, maintenance intervals, and the preparation of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Establish critical operation levels, contingency plans, and redundancy measures.
• Manage work‑order procedures, communication flows, and the creation of detailed scope drawings.
• Maintain historical records of all technical work, conduct weekly team‑leader meetings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate team performance, provide coaching, and supervise manpower cost and productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading and managing technical operations and maintenance teams.
• Ability to coordinate in‑house staff, external service providers, and contractors.
• Strong organizational skills to plan, monitor, and report on technical activities.
