Supply Chain Officer – Beirut

About the role

The World Food Programme (WFP) Lebanon Country Office is looking for a Supply Chain Officer to lead complex supply‑chain operations and support strategic planning. Reporting directly to the Country Director, the officer will head the Supply Chain Unit and ensure effective coordination across logistics, procurement, and food safety functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end supply‑chain activities, ensuring timely delivery of food and cash assistance.
• Provide strategic oversight and coordination for logistics, procurement, and food safety & quality processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align operational decisions with WFP’s humanitarian objectives.
• Contribute to strategic planning, operational decision‑making, and stakeholder management to enhance programme impact.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in supply‑chain management.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.
