Special Education Teacher (Part‑time, Hybrid)

About the role

ECEO Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction to middle‑school students with diverse learning needs. This part‑time, hybrid role combines on‑site classroom teaching in Beirut with remote planning, documentation, and virtual support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and regularly review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the varied abilities of learners.
• Monitor student progress, record data, and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary teams, and school staff to ensure cohesive support.
• Utilize educational technology tools for blended learning and virtual assistance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; relevant certifications or licenses are advantageous.
• Demonstrated teaching experience, preferably with middle‑school learners.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families and teams.
• Ability to work reliably on a flexible, part‑time schedule while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner‑centered practices and student well‑being.

Required skills

• Knowledge of special‑education best practices and IEP development.
• Experience designing differentiated instructional plans.
