Solar Technical Engineer

About the role

KBE Energy is looking for an experienced Solar Technical Engineer to support its Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) business across Saudi Arabia and Lebanon. The role will act as the technical expert, guiding customers, suppliers and the commercial team through the full project lifecycle from opportunity qualification to after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Review RFQs, specifications and customer technical requirements.
• Develop optimized Solar PV and BESS solutions and prepare technical proposals, compliance and engineering documents.
• Perform preliminary system sizing, equipment selection and configuration.
• Support commercial team during customer meetings, technical presentations and bidding clarifications.
• Coordinate technical discussions with international suppliers and evaluate new technologies.
• Assist project handover, commissioning, troubleshooting and after‑sales technical support.
• Manage warranty‑related technical matters and deliver internal technical training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in Solar PV and/or BESS.
• Strong knowledge of Solar PV, BESS, inverters, MV/LV systems and balance‑of‑system equipment.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
