Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our product delivery team. You will help ensure the quality, stability, usability and reliability of our digital products across web, mobile and backend platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, test scenarios and test data.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, usability and exploratory testing.
• Test web applications, mobile applications, APIs and backend workflows.
• Identify, document, track and retest bugs using proper defect‑management practices.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify issues and validate fixes.
• Support UAT activities, client demos, release validation and production readiness.
• Validate UI/UX behavior, responsiveness, edge cases, error handling and user flows.
• Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, checklists and quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience as a software QA engineer, tester or quality‑assurance analyst.
• Good understanding of software testing principles and SDLC/STLC processes.
• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
• Ability to write clear test cases and detailed bug reports.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication with both technical and business teams.

Required skills

• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, TestRail or Zephyr.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, logs, browser developer tools and mobile debugging.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger or Insomnia.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or Appium.
• Knowledge of SQL, MongoDB and cloud environments.
