Software Developer (DevOps)

About the role

Chedid Capital Group, a leading investment group in the (re)insurance sector, is seeking a Software Developer to build and maintain core applications, websites and mobile solutions. The role involves close collaboration with project management, senior engineering, and junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions that meet functional and security standards.
• Deploy a centralized backend with an API gateway to serve multiple front‑end applications.
• Integrate SSO, authentication providers, health‑reading devices, telematics, AI insights, and payment gateways.
• Supervise IT projects, ensure timely delivery, and provide progress reports.
• Participate in Agile change management, gap analysis and security hardening with external SOC and pen‑testers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in application development, preferably in the insurance or financial services domain.

Required skills

• Front‑end: HTML, CSS, SCSS, jQuery, JavaScript, Angular.
• Back‑end.NET, MSSQL.
• Cross‑platform mobile development: Xamarin, Flutter.
• DevOps: Azure DevOps, API gateway, SSO, authentication integration.
• Domain‑specific: health‑device integration, telematics, AI for policy generation, payment‑gateway integration.
• Security: security architecture design, coordination with SOC, pen‑testing.
