Social Media Account Manager

About the role

The Social Media Account Manager will own the success and growth of assigned client accounts, focusing on organic social media strategies. This role requires strong agency experience, client relationship skills, and the ability to work evening shifts aligned with the EST time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day client relationships and build trusted partnerships.
• Define, own, and continuously refine account strategies that align with client business objectives and growth goals.
• Identify upsell and expansion opportunities and proactively propose initiatives.
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring accurate scoping, realistic timelines, and proper resource allocation.
• Lead project kick‑offs, monitor progress, and resolve risks or bottlenecks early.
• Coordinate internal teams (creative, content, strategy, traffic) to ensure clear brief communication and delivery alignment.
• Enforce quality standards, internal approvals, and continuous improvement processes.
• Prepare and present monthly performance reports, translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and process documentation.

Required profile

• Mandatory agency experience.
• Proven experience managing organic social media (paid media experience is not required).
• Availability to work evening/PM shifts in line with the EST time zone.
• Strong client‑facing skills, able to understand business objectives, manage expectations, and resolve issues professionally.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate client goals into clear account plans.
• Excellent project management and internal coordination abilities.
