Site Technical Coordinator – Beirut

About the role

The Site Technical Coordinator ensures that high‑end building renovation works in Beirut are executed in full alignment with approved architectural, interior, structural, MEP, façade, fire‑life‑safety and specialist design documentation. Acting as the primary technical bridge between design consultants, architects, contractors, suppliers and the on‑site team, the role safeguards design intent while delivering a constructible, coordinated and quality‑driven project.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret all issued‑for‑construction drawings, specifications, schedules, material submittals, shop drawings and method statements.
• Identify clashes, omissions, constructability risks and inconsistencies across architectural, interior, structural, MEP, façade and specialist packages.
• Maintain a clear record of design comments, drawing revisions, technical queries and coordination actions.
• Ensure that current, coordinated and approved technical information is understood by all parties before work proceeds.
• Serve as the daily technical liaison between design teams and the on‑site project delivery team, communicating site conditions, sequencing requirements and dimensional conflicts.
• Prepare, track and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs), technical submissions, samples and proposals until approved resolutions are issued.
• Review contractor and subcontractor shop drawings, coordination drawings and material submittals for compliance with design intent.

Required profile

• Highly organized, detail‑oriented construction professional with strong analytical abilities.
• Proven experience reading, interpreting and coordinating construction drawings and specifications.
• Solid understanding of architectural, structural, MEP, façade, fire‑life‑safety and specialist design disciplines.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical inconsistencies before they impact construction.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly between design and site teams.
