Site Engineer

About the role

Olgoonik is seeking a Site Engineer to support project planning and execution for infrastructure projects in Lebanon. The role involves drafting statements of work, preparing cost estimates, creating design schematics, and conducting site assessments to ensure projects meet quality and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist INL/Beirut staff engineer in drafting statements of work, cost estimates, and design schematics.
• Conduct preliminary site visits to gather data for statements of work and schematics.
• Perform regular site inspections to verify compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
• 5‑9 years of experience in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering fields.
• Experience working overseas in the Middle East, preferably Lebanon.
• Familiarity with U.S. Government contracting processes and embassy environments.
• Experience building law‑enforcement facilities such as police stations, vehicle‑maintenance centers, shooting ranges, and radio towers.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport; ability to pass a background check and meet health requirements.
