Site EHS Manager II

About the role

Join Amazon’s mission to become Earth’s safest place to work as a Site EHS Manager II. You will act as the safety champion for the site, leading the implementation of Amazon’s Global Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) program and driving a culture of safety excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site‑wide safety initiatives, conduct risk assessments and translate findings into actionable improvements.
• Analyze safety data, incident trends and audit results to identify root causes and preventive measures.
• Manage the first‑aid program, emergency response capabilities and ensure immediate care is available.
• Partner with Operations leadership to embed safety into daily processes and influence strategic decisions.
• Oversee WHS record‑keeping, workplace organization and training programs.
• Perform regular site audits to ensure compliance with WHS policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in occupational health and safety within a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Physical ability to lift up to 49 lb, stand or walk for long periods, and work in variable temperature and noise conditions.
