Senior Systems Administrator

About the role

Aspire Software is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join its Lebanon team. The role involves managing a diverse infrastructure spanning Windows, Linux, virtualization, database, and cloud environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) virtual machines, maintaining availability and compliance.
• Manage Dell blade servers, enterprise SAN/NAS storage, and perform capacity planning.
• Oversee VMware vSphere, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and VM lifecycle management.
• Lead SQL Server administration across dev, staging, QA, and production, including Always On Availability Groups and performance tuning.
• Configure and support IIS for .NET applications, handling application pools, SSL bindings, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Server services.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Octopus Deploy) and automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Manage Docker containers, orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Administer cloud resources on Azure, AWS, and GCP, optimizing usage and costs.
• Handle backup solutions (Veeam), hybrid connectivity, VPNs, and network security (firewalls, VLANs, HAProxy).

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise‑level systems administration and infrastructure design.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on reliability and security.
• Ability to work collaboratively with development and operations teams.
