Senior Software Engineer - Internal Audit Tech

About the role

Oversight is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its remote team, focusing on agentic AI solutions for internal audit and GRC. The role is full‑time, contract‑based, and requires overlap with GCC business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship agentic AI components such as tool‑calling, orchestration, retrieval, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Maintain production systems, provide on‑call support, and ensure reliability.
• Own end‑to‑end workstreams, write specifications, and communicate progress without direct supervision.
• Scope tasks, sequence work, flag blockers early, and meet delivery dates.

Required profile

• Experience shipping and maintaining products on a large engineering team (not just prototypes).
• Hands‑on experience building agentic AI products.
• Minimum 2 years of professional engineering experience if based in the GCC or United States, otherwise 4 + years.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Ability to manage own work scope and timelines.
