Senior Software Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality software solutions that meet our customers' business needs. The role involves translating business specifications into reliable applications while adhering to coding standards and development methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, validate, and transform business specifications into comprehensive software solutions.
• Develop applications using the selected programming languages for SABIS® products, following coding standards and release processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues encountered during development to ensure reliable delivery.
• Document code and development processes to facilitate future amendments.
• Design, create, and maintain database objects such as tables, stored procedures, and functions.
• Write and execute business scenarios, perform testing, and report defects.
• Review code produced by junior and intermediate developers.
• Identify risks during analysis and development, and implement mitigation actions.
• Produce accurate documentation as required and suggest improvements to existing software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Computing or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and strong accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results and pursue continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Software development using selected programming languages (specific languages not listed).
• SQL and database development, including tables, stored procedures, and functions.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and coding standards.
