Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Toters is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the high availability, performance, and resilience of its production systems. You will lead incident response, build proactive monitoring, and automate operations to prevent outages and improve reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Incident Commander during major outages, driving real‑time diagnosis, communication, and recovery.
• Own the full incident‑management lifecycle, including post‑mortem analysis and action‑plan execution.
• Design, implement, and maintain metrics, alerts, and dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic.
• Establish SLIs/SLOs to meet 99.99%+ uptime targets and integrate log management and distributed tracing (ELK Stack, AWS X‑Ray).
• Develop automation scripts and internal tools in Python or Node.js to reduce manual operations and improve MTTR.
• Build self‑healing infrastructure with Infrastructure‑as‑Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize on‑call workflows, escalation policies, and runbooks using PagerDuty.
• Operate and continuously improve AWS‑based infrastructure for reliability, cost efficiency, and scalability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Proven track record managing production incidents and participating in on‑call rotations.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js for automation.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, CloudWatch, ECS/Lambda, IAM, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and CI/CD pipelines.
