Senior Quality Controller Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Quality Controller Supervisor will lead the quality control function across all stages of food manufacturing, ensuring that products meet strict specifications and regulatory standards. This role combines hands‑on inspection oversight with strategic process improvement to drive consistency and reduce waste.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage quality control activities for receiving, production, packaging, storage, and dispatch.
• Implement and monitor quality control plans, inspection procedures, and product specifications.
• Inspect incoming raw and packaging materials and approve or reject based on test results.
• Develop process control checkpoints and coordinate corrective actions with production teams.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses and lead investigations of quality incidents and non‑conformities.
• Analyze quality trends using statistical tools and data analytics; prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Develop and track Quality Control KPIs; drive continuous improvement projects.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies to reduce variability, waste, and rework.
• Coach, develop, and set performance expectations for Quality Control Supervisors and Controllers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in food manufacturing quality operations.
• Minimum 3 years in a quality leadership position.

• Experience with ERP and Quality Management Systems.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
