Senior Presales Engineer

About the role

The Senior Presales Engineer provides technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, bridging the gap between sales teams and technical delivery. You will design solutions, deliver demos and proofs‑of‑concept, and engage with customers to ensure proposals meet business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and design suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution architectures, statements of work and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and proof‑of‑concept sessions for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Create high‑level and detailed solution designs, architecture diagrams and integration workflows.
• Coordinate with engineering, delivery, product and support teams to transition won opportunities to implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑6 years of experience in presales, solution engineering or technical consulting, preferably in the KSA or UAE market.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, databases and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, infrastructure, data or AI solutions.
• Proficiency with diagramming and documentation tools (Visio, Draw.io, etc.).
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
