Senior Network Administrator

About the role

GlobeMed Group, the leading Healthcare Benefits Management company in the MENA region, is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to ensure optimal performance and availability of its voice and data networks across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, maintain and support LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures at all branches.
• Implement and manage network and security systems to meet current and future organizational needs.
• Monitor enterprise network performance, generate utilization reports and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical network, VPN and connectivity issues.
• Develop and maintain high‑level and low‑level network architecture documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Communication Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with network and security components.
• CCNP Security and CCNP Routing & Switching certifications are a plus.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve Internet, network and VPN connectivity problems.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols (internal & external).
• LAN technologies such as VLANs, VTP, STP.
• VoIP, WAN and VPN technologies.
• Application protocols: DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, NTP, TACACS+.
• Network security concepts and best practices.
