Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

SYDEN is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its Lebanon office. The role involves leading the electrical design of high‑profile hospitality, commercial, mixed‑use and high‑rise projects from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full electrical design process, from concept to detailed design and construction.
• Design and coordinate power distribution, lighting, emergency power and ELV systems.
• Prepare electrical calculations, technical reports, specifications, schedules and drawing packages.
• Collaborate closely with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated, practical solutions.
• Review design documents, technical submissions, shop drawings and material proposals.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international codes and project requirements.
• Provide technical support to project teams and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in building‑services electrical design for large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes, standards and Lebanese regulations.
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of design deliverables.
