Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will lead the development, review, and delivery of complex electrical designs for power, lighting, and low‑voltage systems. You will ensure technical accuracy, code compliance, and seamless coordination with multidisciplinary teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review detailed electrical designs for power, lighting, and low‑voltage systems.
• Perform load calculations, short‑circuit analysis, and equipment sizing.
• Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and architectural teams to integrate designs and resolve technical conflicts.
• Participate in BIM coordination, clash detection, and maintain version‑controlled documentation.
• Produce drawings, schematics, and calculation reports for client submissions and presentations.
• Guide and mentor graduate electrical engineers, sharing best practices and lessons learned.
• Conduct design checks, internal reviews, and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in electrical design within MEP or construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of power, lighting, and low‑voltage systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit MEP.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD MEP.
• Experience using ETAP.
• Experience using DIALux.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination tools.
