Senior Accountant

About the role

RTI Real Estate & Development, a Dubai‑based property firm with a growing presence in Lebanon, is looking for a Senior Accountant to own the full accounting function for its Lebanon operations. The role combines hands‑on bookkeeping with strategic analysis of profit and loss to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month‑end/year‑end closings.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Take ownership of the P&L, tracking revenue, costs and overall business performance.
• Ensure proper revenue recognition, expense allocation and cost‑control measures.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial performance.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and variance analyses; provide actionable insights to management.
• Track project‑level costs and profitability.
• Maintain compliance with local accounting standards, prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors.
• Strengthen internal controls and keep financial documentation organized.
• Identify inefficiencies in accounting systems and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 5 years of solid accounting experience with P&L responsibility; real‑estate experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end accounting independently.
• Fluent in English; additional language a plus.
• Based in Lebanon.
