Senior Accountant / Finance Officer

About the role

The company, a leading engineering and contracting firm, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Officer to manage its finance function and support project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate record‑keeping.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage project accounting, job costing, and cost‑control activities.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and profitability.
• Prepare and review payment certificates, subcontractor payments and client invoices.
• Coordinate with project managers to deliver timely financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CMA or ACCA is a plus.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably in engineering or construction.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
