Research & Insights Internship

About the role

We are looking for a Research & Insights Intern to join New Metrics’ Research & Insights team. You will work alongside Business Analysts, Consultants and Team Leaders on real client projects covering customer experience, market insights and brand research, gaining hands‑on experience across the full market‑research lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of client research report sections, turning quantitative and qualitative data into clear narratives, charts and key takeaways.
• Conduct desktop research, including industry landscaping, competitor benchmarking and secondary data gathering from public sources.
• Assist in proposal development by contributing to research design, methodology write‑ups, sample frameworks and project timelines.
• Perform quality‑control checks on incoming data such as logic checks, consistency reviews and open‑end coding spot‑checks.
• Coordinate with the Operations unit on fieldwork execution, track sample progress, monitor quota fulfilment and help resolve in‑field queries.
• Help prepare research instruments (questionnaires, discussion guides, screeners) under senior guidance.
• Create data tabulations and visualisations, building crosstabs, charts and summary tables for client deliverables.
• Support qualitative research activities, including note‑taking during interviews.

Required profile

• Available for the internship period from 29 June 2026 to 28 August 2026.
