Remote Architectural Draftsman / Architect

About the role

Outsourcing Advantage is looking for a skilled Architectural Draftsman / Architect to join its remote team. You will create precise building plan sets for U.S.-based clients, ensuring compliance with permitting and construction standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce complete building plan sets in AutoCAD, including elevations, roof plans, floor plans, and grading/site plans.
• Create detailed construction drawings with accurate dimensions and annotations.
• Interpret and develop full architectural plan sets beyond basic layouts.
• Coordinate revisions and incorporate mark‑ups/redlines from project stakeholders.
• Prepare drawings for permitting and code compliance.

Required profile

• College‑level education in Architecture.
• 3+ years of professional architectural drafting or architect experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English (C1 level).
• Availability to work during Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
• Ability to provide work samples of building plans/plan sets.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Revit (preferred).
