Quality Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑to‑senior Quality Engineer to become the first dedicated QA professional on a fast‑growing development team. You will shape the testing strategy, introduce automation frameworks, and lay the groundwork for future QA expansion across web, mobile, and API products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual and exploratory testing to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API platforms.
• Build automation frameworks from scratch where coverage is missing and extend existing ones.
• Collaborate with backend and frontend developers, product managers, and designers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Execute regression, integration, and smoke testing for major releases.
• Identify, document, and track bugs to closure.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Help define and implement QA processes and best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional QA experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of test planning and execution.

Required skills

• Playwright or Cypress for web automation.
• Appium for mobile automation.
• Postman/Newman or Pytest for API testing.
• Python for automation scripting.
• JavaScript for writing and maintaining automation scripts.
