Project Coordinator for Arab SMEs Summit

About the role

The ESCWA Technology Centre (ETC) is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination and implementation of the Arab SMEs Summit (ASMES) 2026 and other ETC events. This short‑term consultancy will ensure smooth logistical, operational and administrative execution of the summit and related programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate venue logistics, catering, audiovisual services, interpretation, signage and event materials for ASMES 2026 and other ETC events.
• Manage participant registration, invitations, confirmations, communications and badge preparation.
• Facilitate travel, visa, accommodation and local transportation arrangements, maintaining close contact with service providers and participants.
• Support administrative processes for visa documentation, tracking and follow‑up.
• Provide on‑site event support, including participant access control and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event coordination, logistics or project support, preferably in an international or multilateral environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the Executive Director of the ESCWA Technology Centre.
