Project Controls Manager

About the role

Qualus is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead scheduling and work‑planning activities within its Program Management Organization. The role focuses on integrating project team inputs, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring accurate delivery of the System Protection work plan.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scheduling and work‑planning support for the PMO, overseeing current project controls staff.
• Develop and maintain department work plans, integrating data from engineering, project status reports, and other sources.
• Collect, analyze, and report on department trends, creating dashboards and program reports for senior management.
• Communicate project‑specific tasks, inputs, and durations to project managers during plan development.
• Build schedule templates specific to System Protection and ensure resource requirements are captured.
• Foster strong relationships with peers, stakeholders, and management while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in scheduling and work planning, preferably in utility power generation.
• Proven ability to influence without authority and build collaborative teams.
• Degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience (preferred but not required).
