Programme Coordinator (Youth Engagement & Local Governance)

About the role

The Programme Coordinator will support UNICEF's Youth and Adolescents and Local Governance programmes in South Lebanon and Nabatieh. Reporting to the Chief of Field Office, the role provides technical assistance for programme design, implementation, monitoring and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for programme design, planning and implementation.
• Monitor programme activities, collect data, analyse results and prepare progress reports.
• Conduct regular field visits and surveys, liaise with partners and stakeholders to assess progress.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating critical bottlenecks as needed.
• Participate in monitoring and evaluation exercises, programme reviews and annual assessments with government and other counterparts.
• Prepare required programme documentation, materials and reports for management and donors.
