Procurement Supervisor – Lead Purchasing Operations

About the role

The company is looking for an experienced Procurement Supervisor to lead and optimise its purchasing activities. You will ensure timely, cost‑effective sourcing of materials, products and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships and compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day procurement and purchasing operations.
• Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to payment.
• Identify, evaluate and select reliable suppliers based on quality, price and delivery performance.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts and service agreements.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments to guarantee material availability.
• Control inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets and applicable regulations.
• Identify cost‑reduction and process‑improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports.
• Set and track procurement KPIs and performance standards.
• Supervise, support and develop the procurement team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
• 7‑8+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing or sourcing.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team‑leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies and supplier evaluation.
