Procurement Supervisor

About the role

The company is looking for a Procurement Supervisor to lead its purchasing activities in Côte d’Ivoire. You will be responsible for managing the full procurement cycle, ensuring cost‑effective sourcing, and maintaining strong supplier relationships while complying with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily procurement operations and coordinate purchasing activities.
• Manage the end‑to‑end procurement cycle from requisition to payment.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability and delivery capability.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms and commercial conditions.
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, lead times and supplier performance.
• Ensure timely availability of materials and coordinate inventory levels.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare regular procurement reports and provide insights on spending and supplier performance.
• Supervise and support procurement staff, ensuring accountability and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or related field.
• 7‑8 years of procurement or supply‑chain experience with proven supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.
• Fluency in French and willingness to relocate to Côte d’Ivoire.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP or procurement management systems.
