Physics Teacher - Relocation Required

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Physics Teacher to join CADMUS International School in Baghdad for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver the SABIS curriculum, support student achievement, and contribute to a vibrant learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physics lessons using provided lesson plans or develop plans aligned with SABIS pacing charts.
• Mark examinations and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Collaborate with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department on disciplinary and performance matters.
• Implement the SABIS Point System to maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Proctor exams and ensure a well‑managed testing environment.
• Provide additional support and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation, revision schedules, and related activities.
• Perform occasional duties such as student testing, substitute teaching, organizing lunches and transport, and other administrative tasks.
• Participate in student life events in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of one year of teaching experience.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and accountability.
