Patient Services Specialist

About the role

The Patient Services Specialist at myteem will be the primary point of contact for patients, handling both inbound and outbound communications. Working on‑site in Beirut, you will support patients throughout their care journey by managing appointments, preparing medical charts, and addressing inquiries with empathy and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls for appointment reminders, follow‑ups, and general patient inquiries.
• Collect and organize patients' medical information to create accurate, up‑to‑date charts.
• Assist patients with scheduling, obtaining medical records, and navigating healthcare procedures.
• Enter and maintain detailed records of patient interactions in electronic systems.
• Process prior authorizations with insurance companies to secure treatment or medication approvals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the practice.

Required profile

• Professional proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient interaction.
• Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to multitask.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
• Prior experience in a healthcare or customer‑service environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
