About the role
The Chemical Engineering Program seeks part‑time faculty for the Spring 2027 semester (January 14 – May 14) at its Byblos campus. The appointment involves teaching undergraduate courses in chemical engineering, including fundamentals, professional topics, and AI‑focused modules.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and laboratory sessions for courses such as CHE200, CHE434, CHE405, CHE406 and selected technical electives.
- Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments, and provide guidance to students on projects and research topics.
Required profile
- PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field by the start date.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills; prior teaching or relevant industry experience is preferred.
Required skills
- Python programming for data‑driven analysis.
- Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence concepts applied to chemical engineering processes.
- Data analysis and interpretation for process modeling, optimization, and safety.
