MEP Revit Modeler – BIM Coordination

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Revit Modeler to join BUTEC’s engineering team in Lebanon. You will be responsible for creating and coordinating detailed MEP BIM models that support project delivery from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and update HVAC, plumbing, drainage and electrical systems in Revit MEP models according to project requirements.
• Create and maintain Revit families, symbols and parametric components, and contribute to the internal BIM object library.
• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings and run clash detection sessions using Navisworks.
• Resolve clashes in collaboration with other disciplines and incorporate feedback from design engineers and construction teams.
• Extract accurate 2‑D documentation and MEP quantities (BOQ) directly from the BIM model.
• Apply project‑specific BIM Execution Plans, LOD matrices and company BIM protocols, ensuring model consistency and traceability.
• Update models in response to design changes, RFIs or construction feedback while maintaining revision control.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in BIM for construction, with a strong focus on MEP modeling.
• BIM certification is required.
• Fluent in Arabic and French; conversational English.

Required skills

• Revit MEP (modeling, families, parametric components).
• Navisworks for clash detection.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage and electrical systems.
• Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards, BIM Execution Plans and LOD (100‑400).
• Creation of 2‑D documentation and quantity take‑offs from BIM models.
