Mathematics Tutor (Part‑time, On‑site)

About the role

Synapse Education is seeking a part‑time Mathematics Tutor to join its on‑site team in Badaro, Beirut. The tutor will work directly with high‑school students preparing for the French and Lebanese Baccalaureate examinations, helping them achieve academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons tailored to the French and Lebanese Baccalaureate curricula.
• Create customized lesson plans that address individual student needs and learning styles.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Foster critical thinking, confidence, and problem‑solving skills in students.
• Maintain a supportive and motivating classroom environment.

Required profile

• University student majoring in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in mathematics topics covered in the French and Lebanese Baccalaureate programs.
• Experience in tutoring or online tutoring techniques.
• Excellent communication skills in French.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for teaching.
