Lead Software Engineer – Python Backend Technical Lead

About the role

CFI Financial Group is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to head its Python backend development. You will work with a multinational team to design, build, and maintain high‑performance trading platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and develop new features and products.
• Write technical specifications, choose appropriate technologies, and ensure coding standards.
• Implement unit and integration tests and guarantee software quality, security, and extensibility.
• Present implementations to senior leadership and conduct code reviews.
• Identify anti‑patterns, propose refactorings, and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in Python.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Technical Lead.
• Strong attention to detail and a technical mindset.
