Junior Graphic Designer

About the role

EMF Trading Ltd, the Middle East coordinator for Barry Callebaut, is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to create compelling visual assets that support its marketing and sales initiatives across the Middle East and Cyprus.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce visual content such as brochures, catalogs, social media graphics, web banners, and email templates.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts that align with brand strategy and marketing goals.
• Ensure all visual material follows brand guidelines for a consistent look and feel.
• Prepare and finalize artwork for print production, guaranteeing high‑quality output.
• Assist in creating presentations and promotional materials for events, trade shows, and client meetings.
• Stay updated on industry trends and tools to bring fresh ideas to design projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time while maintaining quality.
• Work with external vendors and printers to ensure accuracy and quality of final printed materials.
• Provide creative input on branding and design strategies for new product launches and campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Junior Graphic Designer, preferably in food distribution or FMCG.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects across different media.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, and pay close attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail.
• Adaptability to a fast‑paced environment and effective task prioritisation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Knowledge of printing processes and preparing files for print.
• Experience in web design and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (advantage).
