Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and performing account reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank statements and help resolve any discrepancies.
• Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate ledger records.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and filing systems.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• At least 1 year of practical accounting experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems such as Dolphin or Oracle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
