Java Software Engineer

About the role

Murex, a global fintech leader, is looking for a motivated Java Software Engineer to join its production chain team. You will work on designing, developing, testing and maintaining core software that powers trading, risk management and processing solutions for capital‑market clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software components.
• Study functional specifications and translate them into technical designs.
• Document code throughout the development lifecycle.
• Operate within a Scaled Agile Framework, collaborating across teams.
• Promote automation, Test‑Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery to improve product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 0‑4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Team‑oriented mindset with analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Drive for excellence and eagerness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java.
• Knowledge of C and C++.
• Solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming.
