Information Technology Support Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Support Specialist will serve as the first line of technical assistance for CredoByte’s employees in Dbayeh. You will diagnose, resolve and document issues related to desktops, peripherals, software applications and network connectivity, ensuring a smooth and secure computing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and manage help‑desk tickets, providing timely resolutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on desktop computers and related devices.
• Install, configure and update operating systems, applications and peripheral equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of solutions in the ticketing system.
• Perform routine asset checks, software updates and security patches.
• Support user onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including account provisioning and device allocation.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior technical staff while collaborating with the IT team to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Strong technical support and help‑desk experience, with a proven ability to handle tickets and guide end users.
• Solid foundation in IT concepts, operating systems, basic networking and security best practices.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in clear language.
• Relevant education in IT, Computer Science or a related field; certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft are a plus.
• Experience with ticketing platforms, remote support tools and Microsoft 365 productivity suite.
• Self‑motivated, able to prioritise tasks and work independently on‑site.
