About the role

The Humanitarian Affairs Officer will serve as the liaison between OCHA’s Crisis Response Division and the Accountability and Impact Team (AIT). Based in Beirut, the role supports OCHA’s mission to coordinate humanitarian actors and ensure a coherent response to emergencies in Lebanon.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate coordination among humanitarian actors to align with OCHA’s response framework.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between OCHA and the AIT, ensuring timely exchange of information.
  • Support the development and maintenance of response plans and impact monitoring mechanisms.
  • Contribute to reporting on humanitarian outcomes and accountability processes.

Required profile

  • Professional experience in humanitarian coordination or related fields.
  • Familiarity with UN humanitarian systems and principles.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, high‑pressure environment.
