HR Specialist – Payroll & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for an HR Specialist to manage payroll, compliance and employee services for Securite Assurance, a leading Lebanese insurance company. The role combines operational HR tasks with strong regulatory oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly payroll in coordination with Finance, ensuring accurate salaries, deductions and benefits.
• Oversee NSSF and Ministry of Finance processes, including registrations, terminations, tax declarations, family allowance and end‑of‑service settlements, complying with Lebanese labor law.
• Administer employee medical insurance plans, handling enrollments, renewals and terminations.
• Manage work and residency permit applications and renewals for foreign staff, ensuring legal compliance.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, attendance and leave balances; support onboarding and off‑boarding activities and issue official HR letters.
• Address employee inquiries, handle disciplinary actions and promote a positive, inclusive workplace.
• Ensure organized, secure filing of HR documentation to support internal audits and compliance standards.
• Contribute to HR initiatives that improve operational efficiency, employee engagement and organizational culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
• 2–3 years of experience performing similar HR responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese labor law, NSSF, Ministry of Finance regulations and visa requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
