Hostess – Guest Relations

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at Movenpick Beirut. In this role you will create a welcoming atmosphere, guide guests through the dining experience and support the restaurant team in delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival, manage seating, and ensure the entrance is always attended.
• Present menus, provide recommendations, take and place orders, and handle payment transactions.
• Maintain uniform appearance and personal grooming standards while on duty.
• Stay informed about menus, promotions, and outlet-specific information.
• Report cleanliness, maintenance issues, and equipment failures to the appropriate supervisors.
• Handle guest complaints according to established procedures or refer them to the supervisor.
• Perform mise‑en‑place tasks required for daily service and keep side stations clean and organized.
• Participate in training and development programs and attend departmental briefings.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer‑facing service, preferably in hospitality or restaurant environments.
• Polite, courteous attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Good personal hygiene and professional presentation.
