Head of Power Department

About the role

ICC Group is seeking a visionary leader to head its Power Department from its headquarters in Beirut. The role oversees a multi‑country portfolio of EPC projects covering solar, hybrid, conventional generation, substations and distribution networks across Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the full EPC lifecycle for conventional and renewable power generation, substations and HV/MV/LV distribution networks, ensuring compliance with international codes.
• Lead technical negotiations with international partners, OEMs and joint‑venture partners, providing commercial and technical advice to senior management.
• Own pricing, estimation and bid strategy for power tenders, building BOQs, cost models and bid build‑ups while protecting margins.
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of roughly 20 electrical and power engineers, allocating resources across simultaneous projects in multiple countries.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules and technical performance remotely, with travel to sites as required.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in power engineering and EPC project delivery.
• Proven commercial acumen in tender preparation, cost estimation and risk management.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, capable of representing the company at the highest levels.
