Grants & Project Manager (Lebanon)

About the role

The Grants & Project Manager will lead the development and management of donor‑funded programmes for CESVI in Lebanon. Reporting to the Head of Mission Lebanon and Syria and functionally to the MENA Regional Grant Manager, the role ensures timely, compliant and high‑impact grant delivery while overseeing project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities, lead end‑to‑end proposal development, write narratives, design logical frameworks and prepare budgets.
• Coordinate proposal teams, including technical, finance, MEAL and partner inputs, and ensure on‑time submission of concept notes and full proposals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of donor regulations (ECHO, USAID/BHA, FCDO, UN agencies, foundations) and act as the institutional memory for compliance.
• Oversee the full grant cycle: start‑up, monitoring, reporting, and close‑out, ensuring all departments meet their obligations.
• Prepare and submit donor reports, internal risk assessments and financial statements in line with donor requirements.
• Plan, execute, monitor and close projects, coordinating staff and partners to achieve programme objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grant development, donor relations and project management within the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, reporting standards and financial management.
• Excellent written communication skills for proposal drafting and reporting.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple deadlines.
