Full-Time Faculty – Data Analytics & AI

About the role

The Lebanese American University seeks a tenure‑track, full‑time faculty member to join its ITOM Department. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in data analytics, artificial intelligence, blockchain, data engineering, big data, and predictive analytics, while advancing the department’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and continuously improve undergraduate and graduate courses in the listed domains.
• Lead the development of new curricula such as AI in Business, Advanced Data Mining, and Applied Machine Learning.
• Supervise capstone projects, graduate theses, and interdisciplinary research initiatives.
• Publish high‑impact research in Q1/Q2 journals and secure external funding.
• Collaborate with industry partners to create experiential learning opportunities.
• Mentor students and contribute to their academic and professional growth.

Required profile

• PhD in Data Analytics, AI, Blockchain, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, or a closely related field.
• Strong publication record in reputable journals.
• Demonstrated ability to teach the specified subjects.
• Experience with applied projects, consulting, or industry collaborations is highly desirable.
• Commitment to innovative, project‑based teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a diverse academic environment.
