Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will drive the financial performance of a leading FMCG company in Lebanon. This role oversees financial planning, budgeting, analysis, cost control and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely information for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate annual budgets, periodic forecasts and rolling projections in coordination with all departments.
• Monitor financial performance against budget, produce variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze profitability by product, region, customer and channel; support pricing decisions through cost and margin analysis.
• Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and conduct financial feasibility studies.
• Review monthly financial statements, prepare management reports, executive dashboards, KPIs and financial ratios.
• Control production costs, overhead absorption, inventory valuation and work with Operations, Procurement and Sales to improve margins.
• Manage short‑term liquidity, cash‑flow forecasts, receivables aging, payables schedules and banking facilities.
• Ensure implementation of financial policies, internal controls, ERP improvements and data integrity.
• Coordinate with Accounting, audit teams and department heads for accurate reporting and budget performance.
• Supervise finance analysts and provide guidance to non‑financial stakeholders.
