Facility Manager

About the role

The Facility Manager oversees the efficient operation and maintenance of multiple sites within an assigned zone, ensuring optimal performance, contractual compliance, and high‑quality client service. The role blends technical expertise, operational leadership, and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously evaluate system performance, identify issues early, and coordinate corrective actions to avoid disruptions.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with contracts, service level agreements and local regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, document findings, and present detailed technical reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop, implement and optimise preventive maintenance plans, ensuring rigorous schedule adherence.
• Use a CAFM system to track operational parameters, approve work orders and maintain accurate data.
• Maintain 24/7 operational readiness, manage escalation procedures and coordinate emergency interventions.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities, managing subcontractors to meet quality and safety standards.
• Hold frequent client meetings, propose value‑added services, and deliver performance reports with KPIs, incident summaries and improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
• Fluent French language skills.
• IFMA or MEFMA certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in facility or site management.
• Strong leadership, team management and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
