Experienced Land Surveyor – Construction & Development

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and experienced Land Surveyor to lead land, boundary, topographic and construction surveys for a variety of projects. The role involves delivering accurate measurements, maps and legal descriptions that support construction, engineering and land‑development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct land, boundary, topographic and construction surveys using GPS, total stations, drones and other equipment.
• Measure and map land features, prepare survey reports, maps, plats and legal descriptions.
• Analyze survey data and produce detailed drawings with CAD or GIS software.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors and project managers.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Maintain, calibrate and supervise surveying instruments and field crews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of proven experience in land surveying.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or eligibility for licensure (preferred).
• Strong communication and project management abilities.
