About the role

The Events & Protocol Manager leads the Events, Protocol & Institutional Experience Unit, shaping the strategic and operational delivery of high‑visibility institutional events and VIP engagements. This senior position ensures that each event aligns with the institution’s brand, objectives, and hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee the planning framework for institutional, strategic, and faculty‑related events.
• Review event concepts, timelines, resource requirements, and delivery standards to guarantee alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage protocol arrangements for executive, diplomatic, religious, official, and VIP visits, defining guest‑journey standards and hospitality quality.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing & CSR on high‑visibility events to ensure integrated communication, creative, digital, and content execution.
• Supervise the Events Coordinator, Protocol & VIP Officer, and Marketing & Events Operations Assistant, managing workload, timelines, and resource allocation across the events portfolio.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in events, protocol, hospitality, or institutional experience management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to perform effectively in high‑visibility environments.
• Proficiency in Arabic, English, and French.
